Assistant Brewer

Lunes a Viernes / 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Brewer to join our crew and support daily brewing operations with intelligence, initiative, and a strong sense of professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, proactive, honest, and eager to develop a long-term career in the brewing industry. Responsibilities

-Assist in all aspects of the brewing process including mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, cleaning and packaging
-Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the brewery
-Monitor fermentation progress and quality control measures
-Help with inventory management, kegging and canning
-Support recipe execution and experimentation under head brewer guidance
-Maintain accurate brewing logs and records
-Participate in events, tastings, and brewery events as needed
-Operate brewing equipment safely and efficiently
-Take initiative on tasks without needing constant supervision
-Contribute ideas for improvement and innovation
-Help foster a positive, respectful, and ambitious team environment
-Assist (when required) in other areas of the business i.e. logistics, supply runs

Required Qualifications

-Relevant qualification in Engineering, Chemistry or Biotech
-Demonstrated passion for craft beer and brewing
-Strong work ethic, honesty, and reliability
-High level of intelligence and the ability to learn quickly
-Proactive mindset and desire to take initiative
-Ability to lead when needed, but also collaborate effectively
-Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions
-Professional attitude, punctuality, and good communication skills
-Intermediate (or higher) level of English
-Valid driver’s license
-Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and early mornings as required
-Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 35 kg, standing for long hours, and working in hot, cold, or wet environments

WORKING CONDITIONS


-Ability to work normal days 8am-4:30pm, and the occasional weekend if needed.
-Must have reliable transportation to work
-Ability to work in a noisy environment
-Capable of following all safety procedures while working with potentially hazardous machinery, chemicals with the proper PPE and safeguards in place.
‍-Upon being hired there will be an expectation of signing an NDA (Non-DisclosureAgreement).

Preferred (but not required)

‍-Prior brewing or cellar experience
-Background in science, engineering, food production, or related fields
-Intermediate or higher mechanical aptitude
-Problem solving abilities
